Toronto, August 14, 2019 – Curate Mobile, a Toronto-based global marketing technology firm, has appointed industry veteran Joe Strolz as President and Managing Partner. Strolz will join Founder & CEO Marc Porcelli and CRO & Partner Moufid Al-Joundi as the newest Partner in the company. Having built a successful outcome-based mobile marketing platform, Curate Mobile recently acquired leading mobile-brand platform JUICE MOBILE and offers an independent solution for marketers who are as focused on business outcomes as they are on brand safety, privacy compliance, fraud protection and investment value.
Strolz has extensive experience in marketing-technology and media, including social, mobile, and SaaS, through leadership positions at some of the world’s most innovative media and technology brands, including Microsoft, AOL, Verizon Media and Snap. In his new role, Strolz will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, encompassing revenue and P&L performance, product development and engineering, marketing, research, and talent.
“With the majority of consumer-connected time now spent in mobile, marketers are grappling with how to succeed in a medium where desktop rules and tools do not apply,” said Marc Porcelli, CEO & Founder of Curate Mobile. “We have made significant investments in building an independent platform that delivers business outcomes and under Joe’s leadership we will accelerate results-focused product innovation and business growth.”
“Independent marketing technology companies have never been more important in advancing innovation and in helping marketers succeed on their own terms,” said Strolz. “A mobile-centric world is revolutionizing the consumer economy, and marketers need every advantage to succeed, whether it’s ownership of their data for marketing intelligence, accountability for their marketing investments or reaching target consumers effectively in a privacy-focused environment – solving for these challenges is what drives Curate’s talented team.”
“We have built a powerful, business-outcome-based mobile performance platform that blue chip marketers have come to depend on,” said Moufid Al-Joundi, CRO & Partner. “Our acquisition of JUICE MOBILE positions Curate to deliver full-funnel solutions, and our technology independence puts marketers in control of their data, insights, and brand safety. In working with Joe through our Advisory Board, the fit between his leadership experience and Curate’s opportunity was a clear one.”
In the immediate term, Strolz will focus on further developing the leadership team, re-designing business infrastructure and operations to deliver superior marketing intelligence for customers, prioritizing product and engineering development around innovation that drives customer business outcomes and establishing Curate Mobile as an employer of choice characterized by a values-driven culture.
